Join Elijah Shiffer to observe the many species of birds stopping by Governors Island Park and its native plants for some nourishment and rest. DESCRIPTION:Join us this fall to connect with the East River Park and support our city’s natural spaces (Mondays and Fridays\, 9:30 – 11:30 AM)! \n\n\n\n\nWelcome to East River Park Stewardship Mornings! \nJoin the team Monday and Friday mornings at to clean up the park\, remove invasive species\, and beautify the area. It’s a great way to learn about natural spaces\, meet new friends\, and make a positive impact in our neighborhood. \nNo experience is necessary; just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help. We’ll provide all the gloves\, tools\, first aid and guidance needed for a successful day of stewardship. Participants are welcome to stay for the whole duration or leave when necessary! \nWe will be meeting in East River Park on the east side of the Delancy St Bridge (540 Delancy St\, just under the Williamsburg Bridge) at 9:30 am. \nSign Up
