SUMMARY:Climate Week: Stewardship at East River Park
DESCRIPTION:Join us at East River Park for a day of giving back to our community\, enjoying our local greenspace and learning about climate resilience. \nLet’s come together to clean up the park\, remove invasive species\, and beautify the area. It’s a great way to meet new friends\, enjoy the outdoors\, and make a positive impact on our neighborhood. \nNo experience is necessary\, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help. We’ll provide all the gloves\, tools\, first aid and guidance needed for a successful day of stewardship. \nWe will be meeting in East River Park on the east side of the Corlears Hook Bridge (430 FDR Drive) at 9:30 am \nVolunteering will take place from 9:30am- 12:00pm; \nParticipants are welcome to stay for whole duration or leave when necessary! \nWe look forward to sharing this work — any and all effort will be a great help to our park! \nSign Up!
