DESCRIPTION:Prospect Park is home to many bird species during the spring months; spend some time observing them on this guided walk. \nJoin us and Elijah Shiffer for a guided walk at Prospect Park\, taking some time to observe the birds found there during spring. \nThe peak of spring migration may still be a month away\, but early April is already an exciting time for birding in Prospect Park. Several early migrants are passing through that will have moved on by May. We’ll be on the lookout for Eastern Phoebes\, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers\, Louisiana Waterthrushes\, and the earliest of the warblers such as Pine and Palm. The lake may be where we find the most new arrivals including Ospreys\, herons\, egrets and swallows.
