DESCRIPTION:Do you live or work in the Lower East Side\, East Village\, China Town\, or Two Bridges? Are you a native plants enthusiast? Do you want to support wildlife habitat and green your street? \nThe Lower East Side Ecology Center is having a native plant giveaway as part of its tool lending library program. Neighbors are invited receive a local plant\, lovingly grown by the Gowanus Canal Conservancy’s nursery. These local beauties are outdoor plants\, great for adorning your local green spaces\, including street tree beds.
