Spring is the perfect time to apply compost to NYC street tree beds. Join the NYC Compost Project hosted by the Lower East Side Ecology Center and partners as we steward street trees by removing weeds and litter, and applying locally produced compost. Tools and gloves will be provided. Be prepared with clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and bring a water bottle! See below for more information regarding upcoming street tree care events.
