Open Stewardship Hours

April – November

Every Saturday from 10am – 1pm

Please meet at the Fire Boat House. All stewardship activities start promptly.  If you are late to the stewardship activity, please look for the group in the park. Our office is not open on weekends and the main phone line is not staffed during that time. Please note that Saturday Open Stewardships Hours will be automatically canceled in the event of rain.

All stewardship activities include gardening work such as tending to garden beds, weeding, mulching, and planting native plants. Please come prepared to work outside for the duration of your volunteer period. Gloves and tools are supplied by the Ecology Center. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle, wearing long pants and closed-toed shoes are required.
