This spring we’re celebrating Tompkins Square Park by hosting open hours for stewardship volunteering! We will also be distributing free compost to the local community during this time. Volunteers can assist with deliveries and are also welcome to take home compost for personal use!
We’ll be maintaining and caring for Tompkins Square Park planting beds, which includes spreading compost and de-littering the green spaces. During this event, we will also need help transporting wheelbarrows of compost to local community gardens. Please come prepared to work outside for the duration of your volunteer period.
