Join NYC Parks GreenThumb and the Lower East Side Ecology Center for a guided 2.5-mile bike tour visiting GreenThumb community gardens and Stuyvesant Cove Park. This bike tour will highlight food justice and access programs throughout the Lower East Side through the lens of community-building and climate resiliency.
No bike? No problem! Citi Bikes will be available at no cost. Please make sure to bring a smartphone with the Citi Bike app downloaded on to your phone to access the bikes. Please arrive 15 minutes before so we can set you up with a bike. Due to limited number of free helmets, we encourage all riders to bring their own helmet even if they are requesting a CitiBike.
