Join the Lower East Side Ecology Center and NYRP at Rodale Community Garden to learn how to care for our city’s street trees! We’ll remove litter, weed, aerate soil, apply NYC-made compost, and plant daffodil bulbs. We will also learn about the NYC urban forest, including different types of trees found in the neighborhood, how to care for the soil, and what types of plants you may see growing in tree beds.
