Join the Lower East Side Ecology Center and Council Member Chris Marte’s office in stewarding street trees in the Lower East Side! Trees help clean our air, cool our streets, mitigate flooding, and so much more! Help us give back by aerating soil, weeding, removing litter, and applying NYC-made compost. We’ll be meeting at the Lillian D. Wald Playground on 55 Montgomery Street.
