  • Chelsea (8th Ave and W 24th Street)
  • 6th Ave and Spring St
  • Christopher Park
  • Manhattan Plaza

Thank you for participating in our community compost drop-off program! It’s been a pleasure serving your neighborhoods. We would like to thank everyone who stood by us and expressed their support of community composting, from signing petitions to attending rallies. This work is far from over, as we will press on to have funding reinstated in the next city budget that starts July 1, 2024. We also deeply appreciate the support of our elected officials, including City Council Speaker Adams, Sanitation Chair Nurse, and Finance Chair Brannan. See their joint statement on community composting here.
