We currently have the following job openings:
Community Recycling Program Associate
The Community Recycling Program Associate will work as part of a small team to set up pop-up recycling events, including a tent, signage and outreach table. Candidates should enjoy communicating with the public, answering questions about e-waste and other waste disposal questions, and working within a small operations team. Candidates for this position need to be reliable and excited about responsible e-waste disposal, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions during Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Food Justice Summer Fellow
The Food Justice Fellow will work closely with the Food Justice Education Coordinator to develop and teach workshops for our cohort of Summer Youth Employment Program participants, tend to our small food justice garden, and conduct outreach activities with the broader Lower East Side community. Alongside the youth participants and FJ Education Coordinator, the Fellow will develop and lead a Youth Participatory Action Research Project to better understand food access in the Lower East Side.
