We’re thrilled to announce our new Reuse and Reimagine Workshop series in 2026! In partnership with the New York State Pollution Prevention Institute and the Center for Wellbeing and Happiness, we’re hosting a series of workshops throughout the year that reimagine how we look at our old and damaged items. Workshops will include a cooking class using your old food scraps, a repair café to guide you in fixing electronics and household items, a natural textile dyeing tutorial, and much more!
We can all do more to prevent waste from ending up in the landfill, and these workshops provide a fun opportunity to join together with your community and learn new skills, while creating a more sustainable city.
Here are our upcoming workshops:
- Clothing Repair with Black Girls Sew – April 14
- Slow Circuits: Wire Weaving – April 18
- Clothing Swap – May 12
We’ll update this schedule as events are finalized.
Past Workshops:
- Winter Fridge Clean Out
- Electronics and Small Appliance Repair Café
- Compost Bundle Dyeing
Funding provided by the Environmental Protection Fund as administered by NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.
